Welcome!

Good morning! Outside, the sun is shinning brightly and there's a cozy little breeze.What a wonderful and balmy day! I'm sure that those Red Eared Sliders at our local park (which includes a nice long pond) are basking and enjoying the warmth. As you can see, this is my first post so I don't have much on the blog yet, but be sure to check back very soon because I will update it with all the information you'll ever need to know as a RES owner.



A Red Eared Slider yawning... I did not take this picture, but whoever did, they were very lucky to catch it at that exact moment. Whenever my turtles yawn, it only lasts for a few seconds; I don't even have time to get the camera ready.
