Calling all turtle owners and turtle-owners-to-be!

   I've decided to refurnish this blog and start it up again. Sorry for those of you who came here and found only a portion of the information that you were looking for. After I update this blog, you will find all the information you need to continue raising healthy turtles. Some people say that turtles and fishes are not as intelligent as dogs or cats, but I disagree. My turtles always make my day and they have perhaps even more energy than a lazy cat that sleeps around all day (sorry to all the cat ladies out there that I have probably offended *meow*).

Good morning! Outside, the sun is shinning brightly and there's a cozy little breeze.What a wonderful and balmy day! I'm sure that those Red Eared Sliders at our local park (which includes a nice long pond) are basking and enjoying the warmth. As you can see, this is my first post so I don't have much on the blog yet, but be sure to check back very soon because I will update it with all the information you'll ever need to know as a RES owner.



A Red Eared Slider yawning... I did not take this picture, but whoever did, they were very lucky to catch it at that exact moment. Whenever my turtles yawn, it only lasts for a few seconds; I don't even have time to get the camera ready.
